PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration insulating rubber composition having extremely good damping characteristics. SOLUTION: This vibration insulating rubber composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. at least one kind of rubber selected from a natural rubber and a synthetic dienic rubber, with 30-100 pts.wt. carbon black having 100-160 m2/g specific area measured by nitrogen adsorption (N2SA), 100-150 m2/g specific surface area measured by CTAB absorption (CTAB), 90-140 ml/100 g DBP absorption (DBP) and 5-30 ml/100 gΔDBP (24M4DBP-DBP) as characteristics of the carbon black.
