COLOR-CONVERSION FILM AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new rhodamine-based compound which is a fluorescent dye capable of converting blue light to red light at a high conversion efficiency by the combination of a source of luminescence such as an organic electroluminescence(EL) element with other fluorescent dye, to provide a color- changing film having a high color conversion efficiency and excellent in resistance to both of UV and heat, and to provide an organic EL element capable of emitting red light at a high efficiency. SOLUTION: The dye is made of the new rhodamine-based compound having at least one cycloakylalkane group as a group of steric hindrance. This color- conversion film is made of a resin in which a rhodamine-based dye is dispersed. At least one layer of organic compound layers of the organic EL element contains the rhodamine-based dye.
