PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the versatility of a hydraulic jack by enabling a jack part to be set in a desired position, while assuring operational safety. SOLUTION: A guide cylinder 4 through which a portion of a line 3 communicating a hydraulic pressure feeding/discharging part 1 with the jack part 2 is passed is set to be capable of telescoping, with an inner cylinder 42 slidably passed into an outer cylinder 41. As the hydraulic pressure feeding/discharging part 1 is separably connected to the rear end of the outer cylinder 41, the jack part 2 is connected to the end of the inner cylinder 42. The jack part 2 has a cylinder body 21 open at its upper end, a ram body 22 contained within the cylinder body 21 in such a manner as to be capable of moving in and out, and defining a pressure chamber R between its lower end and the inner bottom of the cylinder body 21, and a pressure receiving element 23 held against the upper end of the ram body 22 and having a hook claw part at its lower end flange portion 23a while using its upper end face as a main pressure-receiving surface.
