PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic or diagnostic agent for various inflammatory diseases each involving the infiltration of eosinophils. SOLUTION: There are provided the subject antibody, a monoclonal antibody capable of specifically recognizing HVC002 and inhibiting the activity involved in chemokine HVC002, and the other objective therapeutic or diagnostic agent containing the above antibody as active ingredient and intended for various inflammatory diseases each involving the infiltration of eosinophils.
