<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely conduct folding treatment for a recording paper bundle at a low cost. SOLUTION: Protrusions 631A-631C are provided at plural portions in a tip of a folding plate 63, and only the protrusions 631A-631C are brought partially into contact with the recording paper bundle to advance toward nip parts of folding rollers 61A, 61B while pressing it. When the folding treatment for the recording paper bundle is conducted by pressure contact force of the rollers 61A, 61B by this manner, only the protrusions 631A-631C in the folding plate 63 are made to be inserted into the nip parts of the rollers 61A, 61B to restrain a reducing rate of the pressure contact force caused by coming-in of the folding plate 63, to the minimum.</p> |
