PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of fluorine containing copolymer excellent in dispersion stability, imparting a coated membrane having improved water resistance and contamination resistance. SOLUTION: This aqueous dispersion of fluorine containing copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a branched 2-8C alkyl or a (meth)acrylate having a polyether chain in the presence of granules of a fluoroolefin/propylene/ethylene/(butylenes) copolymer.
