PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of an overhang closet capable of securing a sufficient lifting stroke of the overhang closet, capable of eliminating a useless space by minimizing the clearance between the overhang closet and a vertical wall surface, being supported in a stable state with a simple structure and capable of smoothly lifting and moving the overhang closet. SOLUTION: Since winding pulleys 4a and 4b are installed on a top plate 2 of an overhang closet 1 together with motors 3a and 3b, weight of a driving unit for a lift can be reduced, not only a lifting stroke of the overhang closet 1 can be sufficiently secured but also a depth dimension of the overhang closet 1 can be secured by closely arranging it on a vertical wall surface W to obtain a large housing space.
