PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote simplification of the structure, assembling facility or cost reduction in a chair for moving a seat according to rocking operation of the back. SOLUTION: A recessed part 10 loosely movably fitted with a connecting shaft S3 for connecting the back 2 and a seat 3 is arranged in a leg body 1, and the connecting shaft S3 is applied to inner peripheral surfaces 10a, 10b of this recessed part 10 to regulate rocking operation of the back 2 between a prescribed normally using attitude P and a backward tilting using attitude Q.
