PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding support D preventing air from being entrained in sticking a sliding material 2 to a sliding board C composed of a metal plate 3, increasing vertical load per unit area, discharging the sliding material 2 without any abrasion powder stuck thereto, and providing a stable low friction coefficient. SOLUTION: This sliding support D supports a structure A, is horizontally slidable, and has the sliding material 2 composed of PTFE of low friction coefficient arranged in the sliding face. The shape of the sliding material 2 is formed into a ring shape.
