PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the operating frequency to be agreed with the resonance frequency corresponding to change in the operational pressure condition to constantly execute the operation with the resonance frequency of high efficiency in a vibrating compressor used in a refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: An operating frequency of a variable element 13 is controlled to a resonance frequency corresponding to the operating pressure condition detected by a temperature detecting part 24 by a frequency control means 25, even when the operating pressure condition is changed and the operating frequency of the variable element 13 is different from the resonance frequency, whereby providing the operation of high efficiency.
