PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make drop fuel invaded to a communicating pipe side beyond a float valve on a fuel tank without being influenced by surface tension, and furthermore improve a function for separating gas from liquid by making the float descend without being influenced by suction force by evacuating pressure in a negative pressure, in a device wherein the float valve is disposed on a connecting part of a communicating pipe connected to an intake pipe of a fuel tank so as to prevent fuel from invading to the intake pipe. SOLUTION: The float valve 42 is composed of a large diameter valve 42c having a large diameter valve seat 42e, and a float 42d with a small diameter valve provided with a protrusion 42i for opening/closing an opening 42g drilled on the large diameter valve seat.
