PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container which prevents the change of its content quality having a light shielding characteristic without spoiling its outer appearance. SOLUTION: This paper container, formed using a base paper material as a component, comprises a front layer, a back layer and an intermediate layer where one or more layers are laminated between the front layer and the back layer having at least one shielding layer containing a fixing agent having carbon black and cation amin, and thus has a better shielding characteristic than an ordinary product preventing the change of its content quality without spoiling its outer appearance.
