PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for depilation excellent in a hair removing effect and decreased in skin irritation, and to provide a depilatory composition. SOLUTION: This method for depilation comprises applying a depilatory to women in a phase of menstruation to follicular phase in a menstrual cycle. The depilatory composition is applied to women in the above phases.
