PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition capable of providing a vulcanized rubber having excellent low-temperature characteristics, mechanical strength, weather resistance, compression set and damping characteristics. SOLUTION: [I] This rubber composition comprises (A) an isobutylene/ isoprene copolymer having 1-2 mol% content of isoprene component, (B) a hydrogenated polybutadiene having >=90% hydrogenation ratio, (C) an ethylene/α- olefin-based copolymer and (D) a vulcanization agent. [II] The rubber composition has 20-60 wt.% content of the component (A), 20-80 wt.% content of the component (B), 0-60 wt.% content of the component (C) (the total amount of the component (A), the component (B) and the component (C) is 100 wt.%).
