PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular sawing machine that typically evens up the lengths of products and of rodlike work after cutting. SOLUTION: A work stopper 5 mainly comprises a base block 21 fixed to a cutting length adjusting mechanism, L-shaped stopper plates 25 coupled to the base block 21 with respective bolts 23, and a wedge plate 29 as a wedgelike member and a holder plate 31 both interposed between the base block 21 and the stopper plate (movable stopping element) 25. The wedge plate 29 and holder plate 31 have respective butt surfaces inclined at a given gradient, so that a lowering movement of the wedge plate 29 retreats the left stopper plate 25, and a lifting movement of the wedge plate 29 advances the left stopper plate 25.
