PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating tool capable of keeping the buoyancy without being easily separated from the body. SOLUTION: This float 1 (floating tool) comprises a plug 14 (valve means) provided on a bag 2 formed of a stretchable impermeable thin film material and internally hollowed, which keeps the bag 2 in the internally degassed state, and a number of granular bodies 5 housed in the bag 2, which are formed of a material having a specific gravity of less than 1, laid in the free state in the non-degassed state and mutually aggregated into a solidified state as the degassing in the bag 2 is progressed. The internal air of the bag 2 is degassed, and the granular bodies 5 are laid in the solidified state in the state where the bag 2 is fitted to the body, whereby the separation from the body can be prevented, and the buoyancy can be kept by the granular bodies 5.
