PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent barrier film using a polyamide resin film as a base film for vapor deposition, excellent in transparency and barrier properties preventing transmission of oxygen, steam or the like, prevented from the generation of a crack caused by bending, stretching or contraction, having excellent post-processing properties suppressing the lowering of barrier properties, enhanced in production efficiency increasing a production line speed and useful for the filling and packing of various articles especially under boiling or retorting treatment condition and a laminated material using this film. SOLUTION: A transparent barrier film is constituted by providing a water- resistant film on one surface of a polyamide resin film and providing a vapor deposition film of inorganic oxide with a thickness of 4-10 nm on the other surface thereof by a chemical vapor growth method. A laminated material using this film is disclosed.
