摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized electromagnetic dual clutch electromagnetically switching a connection condition between one rotary shaft and the other two rotary shafts. SOLUTION: An inner shaft, an intermediate shaft, and an outer shaft are arranged from the center of a rotary shaft. An inner side electromagnetic clutch unit is assembled between the inner shaft and the intermediate shaft, and an outer side electromagnetic clutch unit is assembled between the intermediate shaft and the outer shaft. The intermediate shaft is formed in shape having a thick/thin diametric part by interposing a diametric direction side surface. The diametric direction side surface is concurrently used for a friction engaging device attracting by electromagnetic force an armature assembled in the inner shaft. For a region where a magnetic circuit must be formed, dimension is determined so as to almost fix a sectional area of the region inserting a magnetic flux for avoiding its saturation. A mechanism suppressing forming of the magnetic circuit of slit or the like is provided in a location where leakage of a magnetic flux must be avoided. A discharge hole of lubricating oil is provided near an attraction surface of the armature so as to ensure friction force at engaging time.
