SHIFT LOCK STRUCTURE OF GATE TYPE AT SHIFT LEVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lock structure of gate type AT shift lever capable of shift-locking strongly and steadily. SOLUTION: On a shift lever 12, a boss plate 14 having several bosses 14a and 14b mounted downward on a shift change preparing direction side and along a position selecting direction. A lock plate 18 oscillated by an electric solenoid 16 has several locking faces 18a and 18b. When the shift lever 12 is prohibited from oscillating to the shift change preparing direction, the boss 14a that is placed at nearest spot to the shift lever 12 is always abutted on the locking face for controlling rotation of the shift lever 12 to the lock plate 18 to shift-lock strongly and steadily.
