PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner fitting unit and a method of installing it whereby even an unskilled person can easily and accurately perform the work of installing an inner fitting. SOLUTION: A structural member 30 which serves as a fitting frame outer periphery structure when a fitting frame 20 for the inner fitting 11 consisting of a door 15 and the fitting frame 20 is mounted in a building is integrally preassembled to the outer periphery of the fitting frame 20.
