PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic brush implement putting a brush incorporated in a body in/out from the body by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This cosmetic brush implement is constituted of a first cylinder member 10; a second cylinder member 20 slidably storing a part of the bottom of the first cylinder member; and an engagement member integrally formed by mutually connecting/separating a first gear member 38 which is slidably stored inside the first cylinder member, has the brush 31 installed in its top end, and is formed with a tooth in one end and linear projections 39 separated at prescribed intervals in its outer circumference, to/from a second gear member 34 which is formed with a gear engaged with the first gear member in one end and linear projection separated at prescribed intervals in the outer circumferential face, in the bottom end. It is also constituted of a brush portion 30 having an engagement projection in the inside central part; and a cylindrical lock body 40 fixed to the bottom end of the first cylinder member, provided with prescribed-length inside projections each having an engagement groove to be engaged with one end of the projection of the brush portion in the bottom end, at prescribed intervals and formed with a through hole in the bottom.
