<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, such as a bingo game machine, with enhanced amusement to which a plurality of players can participate, and a control method for the game machine. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a card generating portion 411 that generates a plurality of pieces of matrix information associated with code matrices obtained by placing a plurality of different codes in small regions arranged in a matrix, respectively, a bingo judgment portion 1245 that, if a matrix of effective codes treated differently from codes in nature meets specified conditions in the matrix of the codes, permits repayment of specified tokens for money, and an in-progress bet setting portion 415 that accepts information about selection of codes and bets from players during selection of effective codes, and, if a specified bet has been made, changes the code selected by the player into an effective code. Thus codes players desire can be takes as effective codes.</p> |
