PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical mineral water refining device having a washing and regenerating function for removing the contaminant of granite porphyry particles and enabling long-term use of granite porphyry. SOLUTION: A cylindrical body is constituted so that a pump 5 is mounted in an upper part and a packed chamber 8 packed with mineral eluting stone particles is disposed at an intermediate part and a backwashing mechanism of stone particles is provided in a lower part. At a time of the treatment of small volume storage water, a refining device is mounted in a storage water container 1 from the water injection port of the container 1 to circulate storage water and detached at a point of time when granite porphyry is contaminated to be backwashed and regenerated by the pressure of tap water. At a time of the treatment of large volume storage water, the refining device is separated from a storage water tank to be connected to the water supply hole formed on a bottom plate by piping and a pump is arranged to a piping line to circulate storage water and, at a time of the washing of granite porphyry, the refining device is backwashed by the pressure of the water discharged from the pump by changing over a valve by automatic operation and washing sewage is blown to a drain pit from the overflow piping provided to the upper surface of the refining device. This mineral water refining device has two modes corresponding to large and small volume storage waters.
