PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a grain treating device which is capable of rapidly treating a small amount of grains while suppressing their damage and the grain treating device using the attachment. SOLUTION: A rice milling machine 1 as the grain treating device has a separating cage 5 which is arranged within a container 4 mounted at a device body 3, a cap 6 which opens and closes respective top end openings 4a and 5a of the container 4 and the cage 5, the attachment 2 for the grain treating device which is mounted at an agitating means 7 for agitating the grains housed in the cage 5 and has a limiting part 53 for limiting the volume in the space in the cage 5 where the grains can move, etc. The cage 5 is mounted in the container 4 and the agitating implement 7 mounted at a revolving shaft 29 arranged at their center is mounted with the limiting part 53 of a large diameter so as to cover its outer side. Unpolished rice is put into the cage 5 and the cap 6 is put on. The unpolished rice is highly stacked at the edge within the cage 5. The number of the times that the unpolished rice grains rub against each other and the time is increased. The jumping up and down of the grains and the collision of the grains against each other by their own weight are suppressed.
