METHOD FOR ASSAYING ACTIVITY OF PROTEIN-PHOSPHORYLASE AND KIT THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and rapid method and kit for assaying phosphorylase activity of Chk1 and chk2. SOLUTION: This method for assaying the activity of a protein-phosphorylase comprises a phosphorylation step (S1) for reacting at least one protein- phosphorylase selected from human Chk1 and human Chk2 with a substrate peptide which is phosphorylated by the protein-phosphorylase to synthesize a phosphorylated substrate peptide, an antibody-binding step (S2) for binding the phosphorylated substrate peptide to an anti-phosphorylated peptide antibody capable of being specifically bound to the phosphorylated substrate peptide, and a quantification step (S4) for quantifying the bound substance. This kit for assaying activity has a receptacle coated with a substrate peptide which is phosphorylated by at least one protein-phosphorylase selected from human Chk1 and human Chk2, and an anti-phosphorylated peptide antibody capable of being specifically bound to a phosphorylated substrate peptide obtained by phosphorylating the substrate peptide with the protein-phosphorylase.
