PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a formed product having a uniform weight and a compressed density of boiled rice and good in both of texture and taste to be efficiently formed. SOLUTION: This apparatus for forming the rice has a widthwise gathering structure C of the constant-weight boiled rice, for pressing the fed constant- weight, boiled rice a2 from an upper and rear direction of an introducing conveyor B for conveying the boiled rice from a rear part to a front part to the front direction, and from mutually facing right and left both sides to each other, a rotary cutter D for cutting the constant-weight boiled rice a2 from the center to the right and left so as to be divided into two, one pair of two divided boiled rice-conveying passages E, E separated by a center partition 36 and a pair of two boiled rice-loosening structures F, F pivotally supported so as to be freely rotatable, arranged in order, and further has a forming block I having a right and left pair of two forming holes 43 and 44 formed so as to penetrate the block in the upper and lower direction, a pair of two boiled rice-charging and compressing press molds J and J, arranged at the upper part of a formed product-carrying conveyer K present at the front part of the introducing conveyer B so as to be freely lifted and lowered. |
