PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To homogenize the refuse to be supplied to a refuse hopper. SOLUTION: The outer ends of two sets of disk units I are vertically attached to the upper end of a refuse hopper 8 to cover the upper part of the hopper. Each disk unit I is made tiltable to the inside of the hopper 8 by a tilting actuator 17. Each disk unit I has a structure formed by fixing disks 4a and 4b each provided with a blade 5 on its periphery and having a different diameter separately to the shafts 2 at regular intervals and supporting both ends alternately and rotatably by the two arms of a U-shaped frame and a structure obtained by connecting one end of each shaft to a driving device 13 furnished to the frame 1 through a power transmitting mechanism to rotate the shafts 2 in the same direction at the same speed. The refuse supplied onto the unit I is conditioned, passed through a space 22 formed between each shaft 2 and the disks 4a and 4b and dropped into the hopper 8. The large foreign matter is discharged into a foreign matter discharge chute 10 provided outside the hopper 8. |
