COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING VINYLDIMETHICONE/ DIMETHICONE COPOLYMER AND SILICONE AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having improved cosmetic characteristics in relation to easiness of unraveling, smoothness and pliability of the hair. SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition is obtained by including a silicone polymer prepared by addition reaction of a silicone with (a) a polysiloxane represented by a prescribed formula and (b) a silicone compound containing at least 1 and <=2 groups reactive with groups of the polysiloxane (a) in the presence of a catalyst and having 106 to 100×106 cP viscosity in a cosmetically acceptable medium. The compound (a) or (b) comprises aliphatic groups containing an ethylenic unsaturation.
