FODDER FOR RUMINANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fodder for ruminants derived from wheat bran, having high digestibility in the digestive organs of ruminants and therefore having high nutritive value. SOLUTION: This fodder for ruminants is made of wheat bran subjected to heat and pressure treatments. A manufacturing method of the fodder for ruminants and made of heat- and pressure-treated wheat bran is to heat- and pressure-treat wheat bran under conditions at 100-220 deg.C and a pressure of 20-90 bars and then to release it suddenly into an atmosphere of normal or reduced pressure.
