PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cooling period of a dental hand piece after sterilization by sterilizing only the surface of the dental hand piece with high temperature steam and perform the dental treatment more sanitarily by sterilizing the surface of the hand piece during the dental treatment. SOLUTION: The dental hand piece sterilizer comprises a barrel 14 into which a dental hand piece 1 is inserted, nozzles 19 mounted all around the inner surface of the barrel for spraying steam from the inner surface of the barrel toward the center of the barrel, the tubing 21 for feeding steam to the nozzles, and a heater 50 mounted in the tubing 21 near the nozzles for heating the steam in the pipe. The heater 50 is attached to the steam tube 21 near the nozzles 19 to further heat the steam sent through the steam tube 21. The high temperature steam heated again is sprayed by the nozzles 19 to the surface of the dental hand piece to sterilize the surface of the dental hand piece 1. |
