PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorizing device of a high deodorizing capacity and a garbage treating equipment. SOLUTION: This deodorizing equipment can be installed additionally to an existing main body. The equipment is provided with an odor sensor 49 (detection means) for sensing an operation condition of a garbage treating equipment main body 28, and a deodorizing device 18 for controlling the deodorizing operation in accordance with the operational condition sensed by the sensor 49 of the garbage treating equipment main body 28. By this constitution order of the main body can be deodorized by sensing its operation by using the deodorizing equipment 18 without limiting the garbage treating system of the treatment equipment.
