PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum supporting body for a lithographic printing plate, which shows stabler plate passing properties under the state that the plate is run through a device with a finite width in a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: In this aluminum supporting body for the lithographic printing plate, on the rear surface of which groove-like or ridge line-like unevenness are provided, a center-line mean roughness Ra is 0.20 μm or more, a center-line peak Rp is 3.0 μm or less and a center-line valley Rv is 4.0 μm or less measured normal to the rolling direction of the aluminum supporting body. In addition, the groove-like or ridge line-like unevenness in the rolling direction has a directionality lying within ±30 deg. to the rolling direction of the aluminum supporting body. |
