PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fishing line capable of floating on water, having high strength, excellent in sustaining the above properties, and therefore suitable for float angling, by producing the fishing line without using a complicated process. SOLUTION: This hollow fishing line comprises a thermoplastic monofilament, wherein the filament has such a cross section that has two or more hollow parts 1 separated by crosslinking parts 2, and further has a percentage of hollowness of 1-50%.
