ACIDIC GEL COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-cost bactericidal analgesic having excellent durability of bactericidal analgesic effect. SOLUTION: This acidic gel composition is obtained by adding glycerol as a humectant to an aqueous solution containing sodium hypochlorite adjusted to pH <=6. The composition has <=1 ppm residual chlorine concentration after the addition of glycerol. The composition is useful as a bactericidal analgesic or a cosmetic for tightening the skin.
