<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sawtooth wire that comprises all-steel sawteeth for a card swift. SOLUTION: The sawtooth wire comprises a foot portion 20 and a blade portion 30 adjoining the foot portion by way of a foot/shoulder portion 22. The blade portion comprises adjacent sawteeth 32 delimited by a serration portion 34 extending from the edge of the blade portion opposite to the foot portion. The ratio of the width b3 of the foot portion to that width b4 of the blade portion which is across the deepest point of the serration portion is larger than 2, preferably larger than 2.5 and more preferably about 2.6.</p> |
