The invention relates to a laser module, wherein a component of the beam emitted by a laser diode (LD) is led through a beam splitter (T1, T2) of a first detector (D1) or a etalon (E) and a second detector (D2). Said etalon exhibits a periodic transmission curve, whereby the distance between the transmission maxima is defined by the Free Spectral Range (FSR). It is possible to stabilize the laser module at wavelengths which differ from those of the FSR ) by comparing a weighted difference of the detector stream to zero. A particularly compact and cost favorable construction is thereby rendered possible. |
