PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an I/O connector incorporated with a housing inside a shell at a prescribed position in a stable condition. SOLUTION: A large number of contacts 2 are orderly arranged in a contact holding part 3B of an insulating housing 3 in one direction and the housing 3 is incorporated in a shell 4 made of a metal. U-shaped push pieces 4C, 4C are formed by cutting and bending both side faces of the shell 4 and grooves 3C, 3C are formed near the side face parts of the housing main body 3A. When the housing is incorporated in the shell, the respective elastically deformable pushing in pieces of the shell are pushed in the grooves, of the housing main body, respectively. Consequently, the housing is stably built in the shell and prevented from rattling. |
