The provision of broadband Internet access via satellite is currently being planned. The aim is to establish an individual connection to the satellite each time and from the latter another connection to the Internet. However, economic disadvantages are linked to this solution. As mobile terminals are connected to the fixed network via a common interface to said fixed network, the invention proposes the implementation of this interface using satellite terminals. Mobile subscribers thus access the Internet via a connection from the satellite terminal to the satellite and then from the latter to the Internet. |
