PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the connection level difference between a front panel and a suction grill member as seen from a front face of an air conditioner by mounting guide shafts and support shafts in a vertically spaced apart manner with a given distance at both sides of an upper end of a front surface of the front panel and mounting guide levers which can change an angle at the support shafts. SOLUTION: From both sides of an upper end of a front surface of an suction opening of a front panel 200, guide shafts 205 are protruded. Support shafts 206 are protruded from both sides below the guide shafts 205 with a given distance. Furthermore, from both sides of an upper end of a suction grill member 210, guide levers 212 which have the center thereof formed in a convex shape in a downward direction are integrally protruded. Rail grooves 213 having rear ends thereof opened are formed in these guide levers 212 such that they are slidably fitted along the outsides of the guide shafts 205 in a rotating manner. In the grill hinge device of a window type air conditioner having the above- mentioned constitution, since the connection level difference between the front panel 200 and the suction grill member 210 is disposed on the upper surface, such a difference cannot be seen from the front surface. |
