<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the noise of a vehicle door latch device. SOLUTION: This noise preventive device door for vehicle door latch device comprises a resin body 1 for a door latch device mounted on a vehicle door; a recessed part 2 formed on the front side of the body 1; a metallic cover plate 41 substantially blocking the front side of the recessed part; and a metallic latch 3 rotatably housed in the recessed part 2, energized in the door opening direction by the elastic force of a coil spring 9, and rotated in the door closing direction against the elastic force of the coil spring 9 by the engagement with a striker 10 fixed to the car body when the door is closed. The outer surface of the latch 3 is covered with a resin film 29, the resin film 29 is partially swollen to form a protruding part 30, and a projection 31 protruded toward the latch 3 is formed on the circumferential surface of the recessed part 2, so that the protruding part 30 abut on the projection 31 of the body when the latch 3 is rotated in the door opening direction by the elastic force of the coil spring 9.</p> |
