<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem with a forklift truck that mounting a gas cylinder on top of a weight blocks rear visibility, resulting in the danger of being unable to watch behind, particularly in immediate vicinity, owing to the working characteristic of the forklift that it is likely to move about in a very limited space and often backs, and also in high risk of damage to the gas cylinder in a rear collision and in limited opening of a bonnet when an operator tries to fully open the bonnet, because a seat makes contact with the gas container. SOLUTION: This gas cylinder mounting device is characterized in that a mounting bracket 2 for the gas cylinder 1 is provided on the top of the rear of the head guard 3 to enable the gas cylinder 1 to be mounted in an upper position behind the head guard 3. The gas cylinder mounting device has another mounting bracket 23 provided on top of the weight 5 for placing the gas cylinder 1 in a vertical position. In addition, still further a mounting bracket 22 for placing the gas cylinder 1 in a horizontal position is provided on top of the weight 5 and the gas cylinder 1 is mounted thereon. The gas cylinder mounting device for mounting the gas cylinder 1 can also be combined with the upper position behind the head guard 3.</p> |
