PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water dispersion of carbon black by which the adhering amount of the carbon black to a urethane can be controlled and therefore a urethane foam having medium or high conductivity and regarded as the product difficult to be produced so far can be produced. SOLUTION: This water dispersion of the carbon black for producing the electroconductive urethane is characterized by comprising a binder obtained by carrying out emulsion polymerization of one or more kinds of unsaturated monomers having carboxylic acid (carboxylate) group and/or sulfonic acid (sulfonate) group and a (meth)acrylic ester and composed of a core-shell type acrylic-based polymer emulsion formed by an internal layer (a core part) and an external layer (a shell part) and having a different monomer composition in the carbon black-water dispersion.
