PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive front pillar capable of moderating the impact to an obstacle and suppressing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This automotive front pillar 20 is formed of an outer frame 21 comprising a front wall part 22 facing the front of a body and a side wall part 23 facing the side of the body, and an inner frame 40 facing a cabin R fitted to a stiffener 30. The front wall part 22 of the outer frame 21 is swollen forward, and an impact absorbing part 50 for absorbing an impact by its crushing is interposed between the front wall part 22 and the stiffener 30.
