A primer DNA (I) having the following characteristics: (a) hybridizes to a fully defined sequence of 5337 nucleotides or its homologs and inserts itself at position 4040; and (b) hybridizes to a fully defined sequence of 25235 nucleotides or its homologs and inserts itself at position 6413 or 6196, is new. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) diagnostic reagents containing (I); and (2) detecting vulgar psoriasis and (I).
