PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficeintly take up and out a wide sheet without generating an elongation and a wrinkle in the extended wide sheet, and to remarkably reduce the number of workers. SOLUTION: In this device 1, a taking-up device 2 for the wide sheet W and an extention-taking-up device 3 fro pulling the sheet W out of the taking-up device 2 to be extended are movably laid respectively on two guide rails 1a, 1b arranged in directions orthogonal each other. A press machine 4 for pressing a terminal part of the sheet W cut by a fixed length is arranged in a side part of the guide rail 1a for laying the taking-up device 2.
