<p>Metal strip is fed between two small diameter work rollers and flexed in opposite directions to correct defects in flatness. The work rolles are supported along their length on large diameter rollers, and are interchangeable with another pair of rollers, pref. of different diameter, mounted on opposite sides of same support rollers by turnin roller assemblies about their axes. Pref. work rollers are positioned and aligned by sets of friction rollers on bearer beams.</p> |
