PURPOSE: A control cover opening/closing structure for air conditioner indoor unit is provided to allow the control cover to be easily opened/closed, by arranging the control cover to be bendable so as to open or shut the front grille. CONSTITUTION: A structure comprises a front grille(20) coupled to the front surface of an outer case of air conditioner, and which has an opening and a coupling protrusion(21) formed above the opening; and a control cover(30) which opens/shuts the opening of the front grille, and has an upper end formed to be bendable at the inner upper surface of the opening, and a hook ring(31) formed at the front surface of the control cover, to be connected/disconnected to/from the coupling protrusion of the front grille. The front grille has holes for insertion of the coupling protrusion of the front grille, and the hook ring has a size to be inserted into the holes formed at the front grille. The hook ring has a groove for elastic insertion of the coupling protrusion. When the control cover is opened, the hook ring is inserted into the holes formed at the front grille, and coupling protrusion is elastically inserted into the groove formed at the hook ring, thereby maintaining opened state.
