PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a stereoregular catalyst carrier suitable for the polymerization of an alpha-olefin having at least three carbon atoms, especially for propylene. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: (i) reacting a chlorinated organic compound with a pre-mixed compound comprising an alkylmagnesium, an aluminoxane and/or an aluminosiloxane and/or an alkylaluminium and optionally a second electron donor in the presence of a first electron donor, wherein the chlorinated organic compound is preferably mixed with at least a part of the first electron donor prior to the reaction of the step (i); (ii) activating the obtained product in a suspension of an inactive solvent by using an activated electron donor.
