PURPOSE: A liquid and powder flame retardant composition and a method for preparing thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION: The liquid phase flame retardant composition is prepared by dissolving a composition consisting of 5 wt.% of chromic potassium alum, 5 wt.% of ammonium iron(III) sulfate 12-water, 3 wt.% of ammonium chromium(III) sulfate, 15 wt.% of aluminum potassium sulfate, 10 wt.% of ZnSO4·7H2O, 5 wt.% of NH4·H2PO4, 10 wt.% of ethanol and 5 wt.% of spice in 1 liter of distilled water with stirring in a triple electric heating stirrer that has an automatic temperature sensor, at a temperature of 30-40 deg.C. The powder flame retardant composition is prepared by pulverizing the composition without dissolving the composition in the distilled water. |
