FILTER FOR CIGARETTE AND CIGARETTE WITH THE SAME

PURPOSE: A filter for cigarette is provided to improve soft feel of smoking cigarette without loss of original taste and fragrance. By regulating diameter at the filter and numbers of passages along axis of the filter, the amount of smoke to be blended is optimized. CONSTITUTION: The filter is constructed with 3 to 12 passages(12) combined together between both ends of a filter rod. The filter has an air-permeable peripheral side. The passages are arranged in a ring having specified diameter equal to 50 to 70% of the diameter of the filter rod. Each of the passages has a wall having the diameter of 0.1-0.7mm and air-permeable feature. The passage has the diameter of 0.2-0.5mm. The filter has air flow resistance in a range of 80 to 160mmH2O. Additionally, the filter has a tip having 2-20mm length equal to 8-60% of overall length of the filter and 80mmH2O/25mm or less of air flow resistance.
